I walked in to get a single nail fixed. (My nails had been done at another salon previously.) They said sure no problem. We then find a color to match. No problem with that because it was a black polish. Im excited because they seemingly are going to fix this nail. All is well until it comes time to add the simple white dot design at the end. The technician starts to add the dot. Im thinking, "Hmm, she seems to be having trouble with this technique." She shoves her dot tool back into the white polish and tries again to match the single white dot to the rest of dots on my other nails. I think, " Okay, its not as flawless as the other dots but it'll do." I put my band back under the light to cure. Technician comes over to do the final swipe with the alcohol at end and SMEARS THE WHITE DOT! She mutters something, studies the nail, then says oh Ill just add another top coat and cure it again. Ummm, you just smeared white polish all over the black polish. But sure, you're the expert. My nail cures, I pull out my hand and its pretty clear that what was supposed to be a cute minimalist white dot has been turned into an abstract blob. Im not sure if they're too lazy or inconsiderate to fix my nail properly but I certainly wont be back.
