Whew! What a disappointment. Went to LV with an Adventure Buddy for her business and to have some 'very tame' fun for just a few days! Have owned my own Retail Businesses, was a Business and Media Consultant, etc. and at one time traveled quite a bit for Business. This trip was very low-key. At other Hotels you can use on-line services or Kiosks to check in-out... not there! Even when you go through the check in services and are told you don't need to allow 'time' to check out, it can be done in the room or using the Kiosks. Those kiosks, check in- out features we were told about, didn't work! Granted, my Buddy shopped for a 'good deal', but that is relative. The room initially appeared OK. Somewhat modern. Upon closer examination with customary 'wipes' in hand, we wiped down the majority of the room after noticing lots of fingerprints, etc. The shower had plenty of hot water but very little water pressure. We stayed in the Valley Tower. 10th floor. Do not recommend this area! Loud. No water pressure. Conveniently located within the Hotel though. The towels and sheets were worn and scratchy. Met some nice folks in housekeeping and pleaded for some other towels. These were scratchy too! Clearly no sense in complaining to them. The blackout curtain in the room which faced a large parking structure that was really 'lit up' and very noisy wouldn't close properly. Helicopters with bright lights and bull horns were present on two nights! Outside of the room and down in the Casino area was fine! People were friendly and having fun. The Fulton Street cluster Food Court did offer some tasty Breakfast for those who wanted something quick and simple. Guest Services was of no help whatsoever. We made the best of it and managed to enjoy ourselves in-spite of very poor accommodations.
