| - This 3-star review is a result of high highs and low lows, not meaning it's overall "average." We went at 5pm on a Saturday after having samples at a beer event earlier that day and enjoying them.
High highs:
- beer was plentiful - lots of choices (some may say too many) and what we had was pretty delicious. The tangerine IPA was a bit too fake-tangerine for me, but the barrel aged porter was STELLAR. They also have some cocktail options if you aren't there for the beer.
- the space is gorgeous. Huge patio, lawn games, picnic tables, fire pit, food truck out back usually
Low lows:
- IT. WAS. PACKED. Can't move, can't hear, can't order drinks packed. They don't do flights on weekends because it's too busy (I understand, but... please can I have one?)
- the band was LOUD. Inside, outside, you couldn't hear your friend next to you unless you went to the back lot.
And not necessarily a bad thing, but, I'm 31, and felt too old to be here. The crowd was 95% comprised of single twentysomethings with large entourages. There were a few kids, but I wouldn't want to bring mine, at least on a weekend with the knowledge of how busy it gets. So just something to keep in mind.
