I decided to update this review because my recent visit was much better compared to three years ago. Came here with my family and we enjoyed the sushi. Everything was brought out on time and made well. Our waitress was nice and took our orders as quickly as possible and made sure each person got their orders right. My husband and I decided to try this place in the near future just the three of us when we can.
former review from 3 years ago:
2 Stars
How this place ever got a vote for best sushi place in Las Vegas is beyond stupid. I know going there on father's day might have been a bad idea for AYCE. So 6 of us went in at 2pm. It was pretty full but people were starting to leave.
Yes we were seated immediately ( Which explains 1 star) and our first order of rolls and appetizers came out quick enough ( 1 more star) but they didn't even bring out ALL the first orders. I ordered a pink lady and it didn't even come out until 40 minutes and it was my 1/2 of my FIRST ROLL. Then when it came out it looked like a 6 yr. old just grabbed mayonnaise and some seafood and loosely rolled it in soy paper. It was so big it fell apart. They might as well have just jammed the thing in a rice bowl and given me a spoon. It also tasted like the seafood part was sitting out.
At least the waitress that helped us was apologetic. I'm not returning here ever and if I was invited to come here I would just decline. I still rather go to Sushi Bay off warm springs for their faster service and better variety of sushi
