  • Large park, good for walking and running. There were a lot of fishermen early in the morning while we were running and the different birds were fun to watch along our run. There are paddle boats available for rent - and we'll come back for that. There are different playground s and amenities throughout but we didn't use them. Lots of parking. It was clean and early in the morning city crews were there doing maintenance. Like many urban parks, there were a couple of transient/mentally troubled people, we weren't bothered by them, but like any park, anywhere, anytime, if you are by yourself running or walking, it's smart to be aware of your surroundings. Will come back.
