Friday early evening around 7pm. There were maybe 3 people there and still, no tapioca (or bubbles) available oh how shocking that was and of course there began my skeptics to this place. A bubble tea place with no available bubbles on an early Friday evening--this definitely didn't sit right with me.
Instead, grass jelly in a toasted Oolong milk tea was what I decided on. Creature of habit it tasted good, but coupled with the disappointment of no bubbles I leave Royal Tea with 2 stars.
The place was nicely and simply designed, adorned with what looks like 'teak' walls and tables but really a walnut-liked finished. Not to too much seating which leads me to believe it does get busy late in the evening.
A plaque on the wall suggests that they are known for their light bulb glass filled with milk tea and bubbles. Please remember to return your bulb glass . There is also free wifi. The also have their points program via Vincity--similar to Cha Time and other places. Perhaps I need to come back and try their bbtea with bubbles
