| - Bachi Burger been creating quite a buzz within the Yelp community and I can totally see why. They have a creative yet solid menu at a very affordable price.
Friends and I stopped by tonight and tried their Ronin, Kalbi, and Banh Mi Burgers. Each burgers were well executed with Kalbi Burger being our favorite which by the way was Korean approved by a Kimchi friend in our party :D
The Ronin Burger came with fried egg, coleslaw?, and a horseradish aioli that was quite addicting. The Banh Mi Burger was pretty much a burger with the pickled carrots and daikons and lettuce served with nuoc mam (fish sauce). All burgers came with an Asian sweet bun which isn't so starchy, so primarily focusing on the protein. yARrrrr ;D
Thanks to Tomoko M.'s recommendation we got an order of the Truffle Parmesan Fries and couldn't be more delighted. The sun dried tomato aioli that came with it had a nice touch, but our server, Kelsey, brought out a pineapple ketchup for us which completely sealed the deal. I seriously can't stand pineapple, but man did i want to take that baby home.
We got the Donuts and Pop Tart for dessert. I felt the Portuguese donuts got robbed from the spotlight since the Mocha Ice Cream it came with was quite strong on the palate.
I can't really give a proper opinion of the Pop Tart since my North Korean Commie friend took the entire White Chocolate Yuzu Gelato in one bite leaving me with just the heavy port wine cherry flavor and the Pop Tart. aRrrr ;(
The whole meal was a bit heavy, but well worth it. Going to come back with reinforcement to try the other stuff.
Verdict: If you love Slidin' Thru, you'll defiantly love Bachi Burgers.
Open til 2am!
