  • Booking a room at Circus Circus was completely nerve wrecking; I knew what I was getting into, but still took the risk for the sake of cost. Following the advice of fellow yelpers, and expedia-ers, I avoided booking at The Manor room, and spent a little more (not that much more) on the West Tower King. I forgot to pack my CSI Spy-Kids Kit, but I was still able to conduct an in-depth inspection of my room. Room was clean, there were no signs of bed bugs, or human remains and the linens appeared fresh. It was safe to say, I was rest assured. People have claimed that the linens here are not routinely washed after use. If you happen to get a room, and the blankets smell like bananas..... then yes, the sheets have not been washed, and my bag smashed a bunch of bananas onto the blankets. Sorry. I came here just to run the Rock n Roll Half Marathon, and half marathons makes me eat a lot of bananas. lol. Some side notes: - Check-in was a long and tortuous wait. - Finding my room was a joke. For some reason, the numbering was off and I was completely lost. I wish the check-in people informed me of this prior. - No fridge, but Keurig... in the bathroom. - Walk, walk, walk, walk, walk. - You are at the dead-end of The Strip. - Use the monorail to go to hotspots of The Strip. However, getting to the monorail requires more walking. Closest one from the hotel was a street down at The Westgate Hotel. - If you purchase monorail tickets online, there was a discount for Rock n Roll marathon runners. The ticket booths will charge you full price if purchased in person. - I hardly stayed in my hotel, so I cannot really comment on it's amenities like the Adventuredome, circus acts or restaurants. Sorry, I have better places to see.... like The M&M Store. Lol.
