| - Mostly, nail salons are a dime a dozen. To me, what sets them apart is a) that they take appointments, and b) that they do gel manicures. Vogue Nails does both, which is a plus for me.
The services are a little more expensive than other standalone nail salons, but less expensive than manicurists attached to full-service salons. The quality of the work is slightly above average. I see Tiffany, who does really solid work; she has even stayed later than usual to finish my nails. I appreciate that kind of service. Everyone in the salon is attentive, from the owner to the gentleman who takes appointments. No one has ever been rude to me.
I have found that you get a little bit above standard service from a standalone salon. I cannot vouch currently for the pedicures yet, but from what I've seen, they appear to be well done. Vogue Nails appears to use quality products for their manicures and pedicures, as well. I have not experienced any peeling gels as I have at other salons.
The only thing that's a negative for me is that the implements being used by the technicians is not visibly being sterilized. Which is not to say they are not clean, I just feel better being able to see what's going on. No one else has mentioned any terrible experiences with cleanliness, so for now, without seeing anything horribly transgressive, I'm going to assume they're on the up-and-up keeping things clean.
I continue to go there because I like the service Tiffany offers, and I like being able to make appointments.
Bring cash for tips: they don't add them on to credit cards.
