*UPDATED*
Per the owner's note to me, I came back to give Bond a third chance and I am so happy I did! Nikki did my nails and not only have I gotten SO many compliments on them, they have yet to peel and it has been over 3 weeks. I did find out that they have a new set of owners, again, but it seemed that everything transitioned smoothly.
*previous review*
I had been to Bond before it closed and was excited to visit it after it reopened with new owners. Everyone was very friendly, it's super cute inside and everything seems to be very sanitary. A regular gel manicure is $35 which is very well priced in my opinion.
My first appointment was with Trish (who I now know is no longer there) and I was disappointed with the results. I was up-charged 10 dollars because she used her glitter instead of the glitter I chose from the selection of gels, which isn't a huge deal, but she said it at the end of my service when I think she should have mentioned it at the beginning. Unfortunately, the polish chipped off on 4 nails within 1 week, 2 of which were the glitter nails that she suggested.
I decided to give it a second try requesting someone else and yet again the polish chipped off within 2 weeks on multiple nails.
I am not a nail tech and I know what the guarantee of gel manicures are, but I am someone who can go about 2 months without a single chip so I am unsure if it is the products or application but this place is not for me unless I'm in a pinch.
