Not quite sure how to write this but here it goes..
1. Took some xp2 BW film to be processed..got a contact sheet and a CD with my pics on it.
costs me only $6 and got them the very next day. (no problems)
2. My husband took some color film to be processed as well. He also got them on a CD and a contact sheet.
Only to get home, popped the CD in to realize his pictures looked funny.
To his surprise he checked the negatives out and saw that the emulsion was scratched terribly.
We both took them back in to moto photo and Joel the owner was there. As we were describing the issue he just seems to ignore that and grabs the CD, pops it in there in front of us ( didn't seem like he believed us). Well he sees that the CD was also messed up so they tried sending it out to be fixed with no success. We get a full refund..
3. I take another roll of xp2BW film again to be processed and asked how much he says $4, I ask if that includes them on a CD and a contact sheet and his reply was no the total would then be $18..
what???
Then I went into class today to enlarge some prints and I compare the 2 xp2 processed film I got done there and the recent one I got done was a super dark purple. I try to enlarge some prints with No success and to find out the film is ruined.. There is no way I can even use it to make prints.
I do NOT RECOMMEND this place of business at all.. I am a photography student and I put a lot of work into my projects, and the last thing I want is someone not care about their place of business to ruin someone else's hard work.
The owner Joel is such a nasty, inconsiderate man. Very uppity...
I have to give them 1 star to post but they don't even deserve that..
I'm very upset over this business and will tell all my classmates to go elsewhere!
