| - 12/9/2016 Update: Well, I think I spoke too soon. I got an "Electrical diagnostic" to try and figure out what was wrong with my headlights during my starter repair. Turns out it'll be $400 plus to fix because the part for my car is rare. Which isn't why I'm leaving this update. After they tinkered with my electrical system I come to find that for some reason, all of the lights on my dashboard (battery, E Brake, gas, and oil lights) illuminate for some reason. Not only that, now my car has no air coming out of the vents (hot or cold). Obviously, none of these were problems before I dropped my car off.
In the current winter times, it's an extreme inconvenience to not have heat. And if my car overheats, I'll have no way of at least attempting to cool it down, which will lead to more repairs. Half of me thinks it's fair to let them try and fix the problem, and half of me thinks they'll mess something else up or create more problems. I'm very disappointed. Mostly because I'm a relaxed and forgiving person and hate wasting my time on things like this. But if this saves somebody the time and inconvenience, then it's worth it.
I went in to replace my starter, and these guys delivered. The staff was friendly and didn't push any extra repairs on me. They laid out a list of repairs and let me decide exactly what I wanted to get done, which I haven't experienced from an auto shop in a long time.
Even when the auto-part shop sent the wrong part, they raced out to grab the part for me so I could have my car back for work the next day.
Overall, it was a great experience.
