I will give four stars for the following reasons:
The prices are decent, and where the hell else am I gonna get a vintage Garfield t-shirt in marigold??
It's usually never a hassle to get in, shop, and get out. And I really like their token program if you choose to say "no" to a bag upon checking out. Save a bag and donate to a good cause. Can't go wrong with that!
HERE ARE THE GRIPES:
Don't trade or sell clothes here: they will attempt to financially rape you even if you have some stellar things to barter with. Had a pal go in there with, like, over $200 of really good clothes and be offered about $24 for the majority of them. And that was AFTER a fair amount of frowning and judgmental snorting on behalf of the wall-eyed beanpole who runs the "clothes buying" counter. Yawn. They will rake you through the coals for you goods - all the while making it sound like they're doing you a favor.
Also -this shop was not meant to be an outlet for failed merchandise lines at indy boutiques. Um....$28 t-shirts on the rack? Um....NO, I don't think so. There are two things I pay $28 for: half a tank of gas at AM/PM, and pirated online photos of Levi Johnston's lumpy white ass. OK? (That second one was a joke) They need a bigger variety of ACTUAL second hand t-shirts. Not this knock-off 80's retro fake nonsense.
My suggestions? you still can't beat Savers and Goodwill chains in the valley - yes, it takes some hunting, but it's often well worth it. Just bring hand sanitizer.
