I like the facility however the customer service needs some TLC. I appreciate how much they care about animals, but BOTH times that I have been in here within the last couple of months I have been interrogated by TWO different employees about the weight of my dog.
The woman who helped me today I know was asking out of concern, however this was how I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. No hello, just a, "Wow he's a big boy. What do you feed him?" I answered and was given a recommendation on what to feed him since he is "severely underweight" as she said. Which he is not... and explaining to both of these employees that he has been to the vet THREE TIMES in the last couple months and that he has gained weight and is on the right track would still not get them to leave me alone about it.
Point is, I did not come here to be lectured about my dog's weight...twice. I came here to wash my dog. Who I clearly care about if I am even there. It is not their job to be my dog's dietary nutritionist or ask me ANYTHING about my dog. I don't appreciate people insinuating that I don't properly care for my dog.
I also witnessed the first woman who helped me belittle a different customer the first time that I was there. So, I'm sure other people have problems and not just me. Once again, I totally understand people being concerned for a dog's health, but they have to realize that this is not a way to greet a customer and it is really none of their business. If you want to give that advice either wait until someone asks for it or become a veterinarian.
I wasn't going to leave a review like this for the first time it happened, as I thought I would give them another chance. However since it happened again I felt I needed to. Not sure if I will return.
