| - It's not easy being green, but this place makes it delish ;-)
I ran into Green, well Nami really, looking for frozen desserts; you can't go to Nami and not eventually end up trying Green too. After 5 or so visits, I've never had a bad meal. Lunch seems to be pretty popular here - but never a terribly long wait. Order your meal at the counter, grab your number, find a table, and wait for delivery. The staff are always friendly and smiling - I don't think I've seen someone sad or unhappy to be working here.
On a recent visit the girl at the counter sold me on their daily special, this day's was a bratwurst; vegan of course. Coming with a few options for the side, I settled on their house made coleslaw; which I thoroughly enjoyed. The bratwurst was tasty with a dijan / spicy mustard and sourkraut, but the bun seemed to span the width of three brats and was sliced more like sandwich bread and not like a hot dog bun; I can live with that minor complaint though. I've had their hummus and buffalo wings appetizers, a big wac (their shameless vegan big mac), a thai penut bowl, ranchero salad, and one or two other dishes I can't quite remember at this point; all vegan, all delicious, with my favorite being the ranchero salad - it's my normal go to option here.
I believe I've answered the question of would I come back by actually coming back, once every month or so.
Happy Yelping Phoenix. This spot totally makes it easier to be green ;-)
