  • This company absolutely does NOT value customer service or even show an ounce of empathy whatsoever. Rather than choosing to problem-solve, they try to avoid resolving situations by providing empty "solutions" and hiding behind arbitrary rules. Every time I emailed our community manager, Rachel Rowe, it would take 1-2 weeks to receive a response, and that was only because I would send a follow-up email about a week later asking if she had a chance to consider my previous email. This happened on multiple occasions and was incredibly frustrating. My husband and I recently moved into one of the communities "managed" by this company and were shocked to find out our "reserved" parking spot (it's always taken by someone else anyway) was located over two football fields away from our unit. While this would be inconvenient for any tenant, it it especially an issue for us because the day we moved into the complex was the same day I had a miscarriage scare and was rushed in for an emergency ultrasound. My doctor ended up placing me on strict bedrest for 5 weeks and encouraged me to avoid walking long distances or lifting heavy items once I could go back to work. Considering I've already endured the heartbreak of a miscarriage 2 years ago and 4 years of infertility, I was willing to do whatever I could to sustain this life after years of fertility treatment. I had no idea that our new living situation would prove detrimental to us trying to achieve this. Walking over two football fields just to get to my car every day and carrying groceries, etc. isn't exactly ideal for my current state. I brought this concern to our community manager and was told reserved spots couldn't be reassigned (obviously that's not even what I had requested). I proposed the idea of simply painting "reserved" on one of the many guest spots located right outside our unit but was told they had to maintain a certain number of guest spots at the complex. When I questioned the number of guest spots and if they were truly at their absolute limit, I was met with a stonewalled response that the decision was made and they could not help me. Of the 6 communities we've lived in over the past 7 years, parking has NEVER been an issue. At this complex, we drive in through the front gate each night only to find all the guest spots outside our unit taken. This then requires us to exit out the front gate and enter through another gate, only to drive all the way around to the very back of the complex. This shouldn't be our experience every day for a place we're supposed to call home. I am absolutely disappointed in the lack of support provided from this company and would never recommend or desire to live in another one of their communities.
