  • Based on EDC 2015 Sunday. My first and (maybe last) EDC experience. I went with a group that went the last two years (all three days) but this year around they only decided to do one day of EDC. Let me tell you, one day was enough for me. Maybe it was because of the pool parties and the vegas nightlife in the duration of that weekend. Or maybe it was just me.. but I was super exhausted after just ONE DAY here. There are wayyyyyy too many people here. But then again, it's a damn rave. I'm in my mid twenties and I even feel super old being around this crowd (no offense to those older than me). I'm already anti-social so I pretty much hated the crowd here. Sorry, no PLUR from this girl... All I remember: lights, fireworks, and a shitload of dancing. At least I was able to enjoy the music - gotta get out of my comfort zone once in a while. Was able to catch some sets - all of them were pretty good. Lots of dancing. I mainly went for Galantis, who happened to be the last performance of EDC 2015. Perfect way to end it - I must say. Seeing the sunrise while your favorite dudes are playing ... priceless. Leaving the area was a bitch. Even bitchier than getting into the damn place. Maybe it's cause I'm used to going to chill music festivals and not raves. Or maybe I needed to go to all three days instead of just one.. But EDC is not the place for me...
