  • THIS WAS THE BEST GLAZED DONUT I'VE EVER HAD. I don't actually know why it was so good. But I realize now I've been eating crappy donuts my whole life, now I feel like I just found out Santa isn't real. I like to sleep in, so I, therefore, ignored all the Yelp reviews that told me to get there at the crack of dawn. Luckily, when I visited at 11 am, they still had a handful of donuts left, but otherwise, the cases were completely empty. The gal helping me was super nice and kindly boxed up what was left. She then gave me a copy of their menu and walked me through how to place an order ahead of time for pick-up (heck yes). These donuts were so delicious that I think of donuts differently. They have a great, thick cake consistency that isn't a completely overwhelming sugar rush. The glazed really was excellent, and my friend was super happy with her strawberry filled donut. We ended up getting a few to-go, and I'm sure they won't last long. I hate admitting this, but I may have found a business I'm willing to get up early for. Next time, I want my pick of those scrumptious suburban donuts!
