I'm surprised I've never written a review for here. I go there semi frequently. It's conveniently located near my work, so I go for lunch sometimes with coworkers, or sometimes after work for happy hour.
It's a college bar. It can get crowded and loud. There's nothing special about the drinks. They're not fancy cocktails, but sometimes it's good to just grab a rum and coke or a beer somewhere. This place is great for that. There tends to be a mix of all ages early on since a lot of university and hospital employees go for happy hours. It's louder and not really my type of place later on when the college kids really start taking over, but if you go earlier in the day, it's fine.
They have $5 food specials for lunch, mid afternoon and again late night, so lots of opportunities to score some cheap food. I like their wraps a lot, and really love the spinach artichoke dip. It's some of the best dip I've had.
It's not worth going out of your way for, but Hemingways is great if you're in the area and need to grab a quite bite or drink.
