I think I found my new favorite ice cream spot!
As a science nerd, the concept of nitrogen gas at negative 300 some degrees freezing liquids into solid within minutes is freaking FASCINATING to me! Not only this, but the whole process makes the ice cream extremely creamy. This just adds the cherry on top of the already amazing ice cream :)
I came here with my family, and we tried out a few flavors:
1. Mint chocolate chip: I'm not a mint chocolate chip kinda gal, but this ice cream may have just changed my perspective on LIFE. The mint flavor isn't too strong and the chocolate chips were delicious!
2. Strawberry balsamic: This was a unique flavor, so I wanted to give it a try. I'm not sure if I like it that much though. The server told me that the balsamic flavor is really light, but when I tried the ice cream, I can barely taste the strawberry and was really overwhelmed by the balsamic taste. I probably won't be getting this again!
3. Vanilla bean: my absolute favorite!!! This wasn't too sweet and was just enough to be super refreshing on a hot summer day :)
4. Coffee: Nothing too special. Tastes like your average Joe coffee flavored ice cream!
Each small cup was about $5 (equates to about 2 scoops) and each large cup is about $6 (equates to 3 scoops). You also have the option of adding toppings for 50 cents each. The chocolate and caramel drizzles are free though!
I'll definitely be coming back for more yummy ice cream! :)
