| - This review encapsulates the eyeglasses store and the eye doctors.
I only get my eyes checked every 18 months.
The eye doctors are very nice, but I have no idea as to whether they are good or not.
Four years ago. they told me my vision was perfect.
Three years ago, they told me that I was a little nearsighted, and they gave me a prescription for glasses.
18 months ago, they told me that my vision was perfect.
Last month, they told me that I needed bifocals, and gave me another prescription for glasses.
I'm not a jeweler, when I read, I don't get headaches, and I'm not running people over when I drive home. I don't know what to tell you.
They always said that my eyes were healthy, so I never really harped on the issue. My eyes are the least of my worries.
Regarding the eye glasses people... A month ago, there were five women at the reception area, booking appointments, helping people pick out glasses, etc.
They were incredibly patient in helping me pick out a new pair, and they were happy to adjust each one as I tried them on.
My new glasses took two weeks to arrive at their store, instead of the 4-5 days that were promised. That was no big deal
When I went to pick them up, there were five different women in there.
When they tracked down my glasses, one of the women put them on me and said, "Looks good!."
I had a lot of things to do that day, so I just thanked her and went on my way.
I wore them to watch TV today, and after an hour, I noticed that my temples and the areas behind my ears were killing me. The glasses were way too tight.
Then my wife looked at me head-on and said, "You know those things are crooked, don't you?"
No, I didn't know that they were crooked. I assumed that when the eye glass lady said "Looks good!" it meant that they did not look crooked. But, my wife was right...They were crooked.
Evidently, that eye glass lady defines "Looks good!" differently than I.
They don't look good and they don't feel good.
The bottom line is, that I'm going to a different place from now on.
Sorry.
