| - Purchased a three night stay for the Oceanside Pier Resort and anytime I try to book it they said it's sold out. My family and I stayed at the Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort last summer and enjoyed our stay there. In February this year, I received a call from Wyndham asking if I'd like to prepay to stay there again for a discounted price of $200 for three days and two nights and, in return, my wife and I would attend their vacation ownership presentation. I agreed and paid the $200 in February. I called a few weeks ago to book our room for July 4,5,6,7th and was told I wouldn't be able to book it there but would, rather, have to book it at a Holiday Inn or Hilton because the Oceanside Pier was booked. I had no deisre to do this since the only reason I purchased this was to stay at that specific location due to the proximity to the beach. As I tried explaining this, the customer service rep on the phone hung up on me. I tried back the next day and was hung up on again. I, then, found somewhere in the paperwork they sent me that I could make a reservation on line and it would be confirmed within 48 hours. I subsequently made the reservation and never heard back. So, I called back today and was told they did not receive the reservation request but I would not be able to book it for the days I requested since it was booked out until the second week of August. They, again, kept pushing me to stay at a Holiday Inn. After refusing to refund my money for the third time, I determined that I would not be able to get anything out of the $200 I prepaid and that money is now lost to me. However, I went to the website of the Oceanside Pier Resort and they have several rooms available on all of the dates we requested as can be seen in the attached pictures. I feel their marketing and sales were deceptive, their customer service was atrocious and I was promised something that I didn't receive.
