| - I would like to give more stars to this restaurant based on how nice the lady (owner? manager?) was to me while I was there. But I can't.
I went in on Friday evening (7 pm) with my sister and my son. I saw it was family friendly from the outside, but once inside the music was very loud. My son immediately started getting nervous so we decided to get the food to-go.
Ah, the thing about sushi is that it's not only about the quality of the fish and other ingredients, and not only about the presentation, but the preparation, and how the fish is cut are extremely important. The difference between a delicate piece of tuna and a gross lump of rubber is in the cut. And unfortunately both my sister and I tried our way through a couple of rolls, and a couple of tuna sashimi, and then we looked at each other and laughed at our attempts not to gag. The rolls all had mushy texture, no contrast of textures which is very important. And the sashimi...ah, lump of rubber.
Too bad, because the place is near my house, and it looked cool, I would have liked to try out the moving bar, but it's going to be a long time before I can attempt another try at this place.
