  • This is absolutely the worst airline I have ever death with. After canceling our flight today, last minute, due to inclement weather in Detroit... where it was 10 degrees and sunny, and we were flying from Arizona to Minnesota, we were told we could be refunded if we WANTED to be. They offered us no help in rebooking flights to get back home. The representative at the airport told us we were on our own to book another flight with a different airline since there next flight to Minnesota wasn't for another 4 days. Upon looking for other flights for the same day, the cheapest flight we could find last minute was $746 a person. Even to book a flight the following day was at least 3 times the amount of the flight we booked with spirit months in advance. This is absolutely the worst customer service from an airline I have ever encountered. I will never again book a flight with Spirit airlines for any reason. The fact that they would treat any of their customers this way, especially an entire plane's worth of customers is disgraceful. STAY AWAY! Its not worth the stress and strain on your wallet Spirit will cause you
