  • Yes!!!! This is where you want to get your taxes done. Last year I went to Jackson & Hewitt and they charged me an arm and a leg ($160) just to get a return of $300. I was far beyond p****d off because I didn't cancel the service and go elsewhere. I didn't know that you can decline the service. So, this year I made it a point to make sure to learn from last years mistakes on everything. Instead of going to those huge companies, I decided to go to where mom goes to, Pinnacle Tax & Business Service. It is based on appointment because he is constantly busy. My appointment was for 3:30pm and I was running late. It is a bad habit of mine to stay late at work instead of leaving on time. Needless to say, I got there at 3:50pm and he still took me on. I didn't mind if he asked me to reschedule but thankful that he still served me. It didn't take but more than 10 minutes - since mine is just a straight forward preparation. I paid much less to get them done through him than anywhere else. There wasn't a fee to get it automatically deposited in to my bank account, and I was very satisfied. If begging was attractive I would do it to save yourself some money and go to his firm to get your taxes done. Just be patient when making your appointment because sometimes you have to wait a week ahead of time before you a penciled in.
