  • Love the decor, but I must admit it is VERY girly. This is a steakhouse that caters to women. On my most recent visit, I started with both the crispy shrimp and the grilled artichoke. I can never refuse artichokes when I'm out, and even at $13 it was worth it. I ordered my steak of choice, the NY Strip, and I was very pleased that they were able to cook my steak to a perfect medium. Any bloodier and I can't eat it. I'd rather it be a tad overcooked than under cooked, but they got it spot on. We got to talking to the server, who was awesome. The server was actually from a very wealthy town that neighbored my old town. He said his parents were rich and that he wasn't... hence he was a waiter. I liked that about him. +1. I am pretty sure I had an amazing dessert, but I really cannot remember what it was! Modern Steak is a great place for a girls' night out or a Mom's lunch. Just another Fox joint I loooove.
