| - If I could rate this place in the negatives, I certainly would.
I have lived (and I use the term "lived" very lightly, more like "suffered") at Viridian Apartments for nearly 3 years due to a recent bankruptcy on my credit. At first glance, the units look old but decent, and the price is fair (or so I thought).

The first video was near when my family and I had first moved in and experienced a massive German cockroach infestation. It's important for you all to know they are German roaches because they are the hardest type to get rid of.
The link I have shown for you all who may be considering renting from Viridian Apartments is a reflection on how things really are. They do not value their tenants at all. My family and I have been without air conditioning now for over 24 hours, almost two days now. It doesn't seem like much, but the heat is causing my children to be sick. Please, if you care about yourself or your loved ones please go elsewhere to rent. This place is NOT for anyone because I truly believe no one deserves to live this way.

If this isn't enough to scare you away, please consider the fact that it took me posting these videos all over social media for them to rip down my wall in the living room due to mold exposure after the apartment flooded after the rain. My family as well as myself had been getting sick more frequently, and it turns out the entire wall was filled with both mold and what the maintenance man had described as roach urine and feces. We have photos that we will be adding during that incident for proof.
Last, but not least, let's talk about outside of the apartments. Every day we are greeted with trash from the children who run around here unsupervised as well as others who just seem to throw trash around wherever they want, broken beer bottles, glass, and I've even passed by underwear and used condoms along the sidewalk on my way from the apartment to my car. This is NOT safe for children and adults nor is it sanitary! Additionally, we have also had our windows broken from unsupervised kids throwing rocks around. Don't expect to receive packages either. I frequently order from Amazon who state in their tracking where the package is delivered. On two different occasions so far, Amazon has had to reimburse me because the receptionist at Viridian Apartments "never received" anything. One day, we even caught a Viridian Apartments receptionist in a lie. My husband called to inquire about a package that had been delivered (Amazon delivery person stated on the tracking that it was dropped off with the receptionist). She lied to my husband and said, "No, we haven't received any packages for that apartment number." I immediately went down to the office in person and showed my metro badge (not an officer, but a nurse who works with them) and their tune changed completely. What do you know?! My package had been there the ENTIRE time.
Please do yourself a favor and stay far far far away from Viridian Apartments. That is my best advice. Thank you.
