rev:text	*********** REVISION *********** Its been several months since I have been here. Dana (owner) reached out to me, which I greatly appreciated. I came back this past week and was pleasantly surprised, it was as though they were expecting me, its like everything was done right. From the moment I was seated (right away) to the order and refills. The last time I was there they must have had a bad day (or me), I had the same server and bus boy both of which were fantastic, kinda meh the last time I was here. I'm glad to see that they are improving service. Done with this place. Ugh, I hate to say it but every time I come here wether its a weekend, weeknight, weekday, weekend mid-day, its always a cluster. Largely due to lack of training and communication between the staff and host. I had a typical HULAs experience this past week. Loooooong story short, check in, tables were full so we opted to wait at the bar. 30 minutes had lapsed, I noticed tables were empty. I waltz over to the host stand and the host was taking a phone order. 3 people stroll in, a server grabs them and seat them immediately. WTF!? If the server had waited for the host she would have known there was a list. Anyways after she is off the phone we get seated. Here is what really sucks, the party of 3 that sat before us (who was not waiting) and another couple who was seated AFTER us not only got water, but their menus before us. Again, WTF!? I have to get up to ask someone to bring us water, at this point the hostess turns bitch on me like I was asking for her firstborn. This has been my experience every time I go here. OVER this place! The food is good, service in terms of timeliness is the worst I have experienced in PHX. I expect this kind of service from Denny's or IHOP, not a place thar sells $13 burgers. Im just gonna skip Hulas until they get their act together.
