| - For my American compatriots, this is the Canadian version of stores like T.J. Max, Ross, Marshall's, etc. The same products, the same setup, the same company actually, only the prices are higher in Canada of course. However, it's still getting the same thing in dept stores etc for much less. 4 stylish and high-quality drink glasses for $7 instead of $20 at the mall, yes please. An exercise ball with foot pump and yoga mat and other related stuff for $16 instead of $50 at Sears, thank you.
The only problem with the store is not knowing what you'll find and possibly not finding what you need. For example, I need a shower mat and they had some shower mats, but they didn't have the kind I want...this week. The Winners on Bloor had the freestanding TP holder I need but I was on my bike then and this Winners didn't have one at all. That's how it goes. This type of store is always a gamble and occasionally you'll be a winner.
