We were at the restaurant for the first time celebrating our anniversary. When I first arrived I was initially impressed but that soon faded. The stone walls were pretty but the murals on the walls were hard to figure out - whoever painted them was not talented at all. The one wall looked like a desert scene - we couldn't figure it out and the other, we think, was a very faded sky. The only thing that went with the Italian theme were the stone walls. I ordered wine and it was served in a glass used for sodas. I had to ask for a wine glass and evidentially had to take my own from an empty table. The soup was delicious but the Caesar salad was dry with no cheese. The restaurant's highlight (thank goodness there was one) was the veal - it was delicious. But, I wouldn't go back just for the veal - many restaurants have good veal. The one disturbing feature was the music. We were in an Italian restaurant and Michael Jackson and other popular songs were being played. As I was eating I could feel the thumping beat of the music. How nice it would have been and how appropriate it would have been to have some type of soft Italian music. The restaurant had many empty tables but instead of spacing people throughout the restaurant people were seated on both sides of our small table for 2. Our tables were much too close - hard to have a conversation without involving the people seating next to us. Will not return.
