  • Today I went to TJ Maxx to return a comforter set that I bought because I took it out of the bag and it was way too big and fluffy and I didn't like how it looked on my bed. So then I put it back in the bag and it's been sitting in my trunk for a while so I finally made it over there to return it and they said they could not except it because it had lint and hair on it. Of course it's going to get lint and/or hair on it because I took it out of the bag! Not to mention it already had lint on it when I bought it and was already marked down lower than the original price so maybe it was already a return. So I guess based on this policy if anyone buys a comforter set from TJ Maxx or perhaps Marshall's, if they have the same policy, can't return it if it gets any lint or hair on it. So if you get home and you don't like it then you're screwed. My family and I have been shopping at TJ Maxx, this location in particular, for more than 20 years and I'm completely appalled. I don't recommend anyone to buy a comforter set from TJ Maxx.
