| - My husband and I were fortunate enough to attend Vegas! The Show with a group of Yelpers and were slightly apprehensive about the performance because we were coming off a huge disappointment at Cirque's Viva Elvis.
They gave us some coupons with our tickets so we enjoyed a beverage at the bar before entering. The bartender was quick and very nice. Once inside the theater first thing I noticed: with a smaller venue, there did not appear to be a bad seat in the house.
Now on with the show....WOW WOW WOW!!!! What an amazing performance! I was VERY impressed with every routine/act. Live orchestra on stage, dancing and singing, a Broadway show at its best, right here in Vegas, no plane fare to New York required.
Each act in the show represented a different past Vegas performer/act: Elvis, Sammy, Dean, Sinatra, Sonny and Cher, Tina Turner, Liberace...Complete with Vegas Showgirls, and a Can-Can (this made me extremely happy!). As a former dancer I was excited to see the tap dancers and their a capella routines. Superb job!
David Saxe has really done an amazing job representing past Vegas performers with out the feel of a cheesy impersonation show. Think TRIBUTE not impersonation. I was clapping and cheering the entire show, another drink or two and I might have been dancing in the audience.
I can't wait for family to come into town so I can go back and see this again. Really knocked my socks off, made me want to go home and dig out my jazz and tap shoes again and strut my rusty stuff!
Hats off to the performers and producers and choreographers. Wonderful job! Best show in Vegas right now.
