I had a reservation and showed up on time 7.30am to be told they don't have cars. The employee did not show any remorse. She said it was not her fault. She suggested we check by noon "maybe" there will any cars available. I told her I must be somewhere in the next 4 hours. She gave me contact another location on Bell Rd. I called Bell Rd and explained the situation. They kept me on hold then hang up. I called the main office, they asked me to go to Sky Harbor airport to get a car there. I am in Peoria and supposed to drive to the airport!!!! after waiting on hold for more than 30 mins, I was told there might be a car just dropped off but it's not clean. I asked them how I could ride in a car not clean and not inspected!! Do they put their customer safety at risk??!! I asked them if I can get a car from another company, will they pay the difference, they said NO. I asked them then to find me a car nearby, and they insisted it will be only at the airport. I asked if someone could bring the car to Glendale branch, they refused. What a terrible customer service. First they don't honor the reservation and are unwilling to help. Even after the 4-hour waiting they suggested, they never called back to let me know. Never again Thrifty.
