This review is for the lounge area only and NOT the restaurant or the food. My group and I didn't really like the place too much. Mostly because of the decor..We are Indian and didn't like how there were statues of Hindu Gods used as decoration. I myself am not very religious but I still have respect for others beliefs specially since some members of my family are Hindu. You wouldn't use Jesus Christ on a cross as decoration in a bar or club, then why have Hindu gods in a place that serves alcohol, plays loud uncensored music, and has scantily clad women walking around? I want people to understand its not the music, girls, or alcohol im against, This is Vegas and all of that is acceptable here and I always have fun with all three. BUT religious decor just doesn't belong in a bar, lounge or club. I liked the other decor but we all felt Mandalay Bay should have held out on the statues of gods and deities. Some of the statues we saw are similar, if not the same as, ones we see in Hindu temples, so to see them in a setting like this was weird and offensive.
This was the first stop on our party bus tour of Vegas clubs and lounges and Foundation Room has a very nice view of the strip. It rivals that of Ghost Bar and Voodoo at the RIo. 2/5 stars for the view and free drinks.
