This is the best Indian food I have found to date! There menu can be overwhelming for the new inexperienced Indian food foodie.
I love starting with their Naan, warm bread toped with roasted garlic and butter. My favorite two entree's are the Mahakali Mango Masala and the Andhra Curry. They are signature entrees.
The mango masala has fresh vegetables with mango chunks that are cooked in an onion/fennel-seed base. I get it with the chicken ($16.99), but you can also get it with the lamb ($18.99). It is served with long grain white rice.
The Andhra Curry is a spicy curry mixed with coconut milk. It is very favorable with it's combination of spices. I think this dish is best with lamb ($15.99) but have also had it with chicken ($15.99). Dinner for two is about $45.00 with bread, no alcoholic drinks, no dessert.
The restaurant is nice and the atmosphere is romantic. The service is usually good - although it can be slow at times.
