  • If you aren't concerned about eating healthy, and you want some tasty BBQ, this is definitely the place to go. However, do not expect anything on the menu to be Organic or GMO-free, or necessarily from animal-friendly farms. This was the response from Joe's Real BBQ to my email after asking if any of the items were Organic or GMO-free: "Thanks for the inquiry. After checking with our chef this morning, our chicken breast is natural, but other than that, we really don't have any specific items that would fit the definition of Organic or GMO free. The Management Team BK Joe's Real BBQ" On a side note: Any food labeled or proclaiming to be 'Natural' means nothing. Many people consider chemicals to be natural. That being said, this is not a healthy place to eat, if you care about your health. I'm not saying the food isn't good because it tastes great (I broke all of my rules and tried it) but I won't be going back simply because of my personal preferences.
