My five stars are for the heart behind this place.
Family-friendly, community-oriented. Movies, music, church services.
There is a real sense of nostalgia and unity in the room.
As far as theaters go, I would give it two maybe three stars. It just needs a good clean-up, reupholstered chairs, better concessions. It has a beautiful potential, and I know they are in process. Go in expecting the hug of a mom & pop shop, not the impersonal fist bump of a chain theatre.
Spend some time reading through their website, and consider volunteering your time. It is a community-driven mission, supported by the community.
