Absolutely the worst pool repair in the valley. The first time AHS Home Warranty sent them out for a crack in my pool filter housing. The guy told AHS the leak started because the filter was dirty which caused the pressure to be too high. They wouldn't cover the repair because they said it was neglect. The filter had been cleaned a couple of months previously and was at only 20 psi even though it was rated for as high as 50 psi. Then he tried to upsell me on almost $1,000 of non-covered repairs.
The second time they were sent out to replace a pool pump in which the bearings were going bad. They replaced a nice Pentair pump with some inferior rebuilt pump. The capacity information had been removed so the h.p. couldn't be compared. The new pump ran at only 12 psi when the previous one always ran at 20 psi so it had only about 1/2 the pumping capacity. It was also overstressed as the temperature of outside pump housing was at over 190°F. It was so hot I couldn't touch it for even a second. Jason at Sunbright and the rep at AHS, who knew nothing about pool systems, said the replacement pump was equivalent to the old pump and there was nothing wrong with it. I cancelled my AHS contract the next day and replaced the pump out-of-pocket because I felt it was a fire hazard.
