One would think this place would be jam packed during lunch with the quality of service and food it has! But it wasn't and that was good for me...I got extraordinary attentive service by a young lady, by the name of Kayla, who is very knowledgable of the menu. I normally base service on how often they fill my water glass since I drink a lot of it and in the 35 minutes I was there she topped it off a good 3 times.
Now to the nitty gritty...I'm normally not a sandwich person but I like to try multiple things when I go to a restaurant for the first time. For an appetizer I ordered a half fried calamari and a lunch combo of a catfish po boy sandwich and a bowl of crawfish bisque. She asked if I wanted everything at once and I did since I had to get back to work.
Food came out quick, hot and delicious. Calamari didn't need the cocktail sauce or the lemon aioli it came with. I thought the aioli was a tad strong for the calamari but still good favor. I'm not a big fan or pickles on a sandwich but I figured if I'm gonna try it for the first time I might as well see what the complete sandwich is like and it was great. Crawfish bisque was buttery and flavorful. And last but not least...banana pudding!! I took dessert to go and it damn near put me in an food coma it was so good.
Strongly recommended!!
