| - Well.....strike two for you! After my last bad experience at this restaurant, I was immediately contacted by management. They were very apologetic and assured me that what had happened was not their policy. They followed up with sending me a $50.00 gift card, which was not necessary, but an appreciated good gesture. I gave them another try on January 24, 2018 at about 3pm to be sure to get Happy Hour prices.
Well, if you can believe it? It was again a disaster! The first bill brought to me, over charged me by $20.00! I was billed for a premium wine that I did not order @ $12.00 per glass (my wine was $5.50 per glass). I asked the bartender if the wine was not on Happy Hour? He said no, but then admitted he had incorrectly charged me for a different wine. Yes, he was apologetic and corrected that error.
Next, I gave him the gift card that I had been given to pay for my bill. You guessed it!, It was no good!!! I was told by the manager that he could comp my charges ($34.38) but could not give me the remaining balance?! He suggested that I pay for this meal, and he would activate me a new card?! Well in the end he was unable to activate a new card but returned my invalid card w a note stating it was worth $50.00???
I am extremely grateful that I did not have a guest with me as it would have been even more embarrassing.
While I must say they were polite and apologetic, I can't help but wonder what's going on?? Do they pad these bar bills hoping most will just overlook it? Do they not have a petty cash fund to cover such mishaps? To ask a previously dissatisfied customer to pay them again for poor practices? Watch your wallet at this place!!!
