| - I visited this church Sat (Jan 20) to see if this could be my church home. It went well after I was introduced and passed on to other people to talk to for questions such as Youth Ministry, Israel trip (as I heard they have one going to call Monday for Susan), then finally my last in-person conversation was with Sam, Children's Ministry Director. I told her I will apply soon which I did same night as I was excited to get started. While I was waiting for the application to go there, I called up Monday, Jan 22, I called for Susan for the Israel trip and we talked; and she said she will get back to me the next day to see about getting one more person on the Israel trip, which my hopes were so high and I was very excited except for when I told her of needing accommodation for myself. So the next day, Susan called me and said they were able to take me after all but with the slight increase in payment. I was so excited as it was only trip I possibly take could due to some disabilities and not sure will be able to take this next Israel trip 2 more years from now. I asked her if she could ask the pastor to make sure being I just started there Jan 20 if this would prevent me from going and she said she would. She got to me same day and said her and pastor feel I should not go to the Israel trip this year for March 2018 that being I don't know them. Then later I asked her what and how did she say this to the pastor as I had a strong feeling she made it sound like when we initially talked about it, she was not going to accept me then before I asked her to ask the pastor. When I asked her of her telling this to the pastor, she was quiet or not answering immediately to me as I finally got the real truth how she told him. I was disturbed by how she handled that. Then the next day I tried calling the pastor, even though the trip would have been already late to sign up and I wanted to know how Susan actually puts it to the pastor as there was no three-way calling or to where I could have put my input to him. There is a scripture how Jesus was rejected and it is Luke 10:16 that Jesus didn't reject anyone, even to strangers (sinners). The pastor was hard to reach as I tried leaving him to work message, but his message was full, the week of Jan 22, 2018, where now it may have been cleared by now; but here it is days later would be way late to even bring this up. I was disturbed also by Sam not even responding to my emails as I tried a couple times to follow up with her and trying to get a hold of Pastor Knapp. I don't know about this now as I felt mislead the way Susan handled the situation of not supporting me where she could have asked me very beginning of our phone conversation to ask me if I have been to the church long instead of her writing or calling the travel agent in Israel, to not getting responses from Sam, and to not been able to reach the pastor as sometimes when calling the church, sometimes it gets answered and sometimes it doesn't.
