I just moved back to Ohio after 6 years in Tucson, Az. I was hopeful about trying this place with reviews talking about the homemade salsa and chips. I was let down by the salsa first. Tomatoes, a little bit of onion and a few pieces of cilantro. I wasn't looking for fire but a slight medium kick and some flavor would have been nice. The rice was, OK. I got a beef quesadilla which was good but, extremely small. A small flour tortilla folded in half. The shredded beef in it was fantastic. My taco was in a shell you get from the grocery store with a couple hints of cheese. I asked about what kind of tamales they had. Waiter said "carnitas", which I love. But, I was afraid to try after the salsa and seeing their gray guacamole.
I get that I'm in Ohio now. But, this food was way off the mark. The waiter was very nice and attentive. The prices are typical of a Mexican restaurant. The place needs the ceiling redone due to neons that look to have burnt it and water spots everywhere. But, it was clean.
