I had my nails done the day before my sister's wedding. I just wanted them painted as my natural nails are strong, and long.
The tech. filed down my nails (squared) without my asking. When I asked her to round out the edges for a more natural look (square rounded) I ended up with an almond shape, after all her filing down there was no where near the length I had walked in with and decided I could live with the claw-like shape as there would be nothing left if I asked her to correct it once more.
She painted my nails and had my dry thoroughly; however, later that day one chipped and looked like shattered glass (in the middle of the nail). Luckily I was able to correct it before my sisters wedding the next day; however, when I woke up on the second day I looked and noticed that now ALL of my nails had that same 'shattered glass' appearance.
The $17 it cost to get my nails ruined was definitely not worth it.
I would have gone back and demanded a refund; however, I live out of the country.
