| - Dr Andrews is GREAT! But unfortunately doctors can only be as good as their front office staff... and that leaves a lot to be desired. Attempts to get a phone message through to the doctor are futile. Labwork requests not being put through, so when you show up for a blood draw that you just fasted 12 hours for, the girls look at you like you're stupid. Appointment scheduling seems to be somewhat of an issue more frequently than not. The front office has made appointments when the doctor isn't even going to be there (I had this conversation personally with Dr Andrews, and she was arguing that the appointment couldn't have been made for when I was telling her because she wasn't even in the office at that time on that day). Or I've been called with requests to make an appointment for test results, only to be called a few days later stating that the doctor was no longer available for that appointment and she could just give me the test results when I went in for my next regular appointment. Then during my next regular appointment when I asked the doctor for my test results she said she couldn't discuss that during this appointment. I told her that her front office had called me specifically to cancel my original scheduled appointment and that she would give me the results during my next regular appointment. Anyway if anyone is still even reading this, at this point in the story, you get the picture... confusion, mixed messages, lack of communication between the front staff and the doctors.... aggravating, frustrating, unprofessional, to say the least. As my first statement said, Dr Andrews is great. But you have to be willing to go through a circus to get to her.
