  • I have been a customer at Scott Clark Nissan since I moved here 2 years ago and have never had a good experience with them. Sales people seek me out whenever I go for service and then made regular phone calls to solicit me to sell them my vehicle or buy a newer Nissan--even after I asked to be taken off their list. The 2 biggest issues I have had are outstanding examples of greed and incompetence -they gave me an estimate of over $2,000 worth of work on my 2001 Nissan Xterra (that was worth only $1,800). I was charged $300 to be told they couldn't fix the one issue I had brought it in for (my seat was stuck-- they were able to tell me, after charging me, that the only way to fix it was to take the front of the car apart which would cost additional $$$$ on top of the $2000 of work they were recommending.). I shouldn't have let them convince me to check out the car-I was able to get all the necessary work done (including the seat, no disassembly required!) for less than $200 at dealership in PA before I sold my car at auction and got the full value for it. So, thanks for nothing Alfonso. I got a 2014 Nissan Altima to replace my Xterra but haven't been back to Scott Clark for service despite the multiple recalls on this newer vehicle- Why you ask? I called Scott Clark 4 times in 2 weeks to make an appointment and was assured each time the service department was unavailable but would call me back right away to schedule. It's been 2 days since my last phone call and no attempts to contact me have been made. I finally gave up and called Nissan Gastonia and they scheduled me IMMEDIATELY. Gastonia's phone service is far friendlier and already shows they are better organized than Scott Clark is. Hopefully, Nissan Gastonia will be worth the drive and I will never have to deal with Scott Clark again. Zero stars for zero class.
