| - I actually love Wal-Mart, however this store has major issues. Every time I go the most common sizes of any clothes are gone. For example, I have been trying to get my husband a big package of white briefs for months. Every time I go they have size small, medium, XXL and XXXL. I have mentioned it several times, but nothing has changed. Had to go to another Wal-Mart to get a size large package of tighty whities. Can't get one there.
Unlike most other Super Centers there is virtually NO selection of clothes. Tonight my whole purpose of going was to get a pair of pants for work. All they have is stretchy pants, short pants, shorts. So I thought I might get a shirt for work at least while I was there. Nope. All available women's clothing is for the gym and for use in/by the pool. Nothing appropriate for work or church. Not exactly the one stop shop I have come to expect from the other Wal-Marts.
I tried to bring my concerns to management in a nice, calm manner. Since this is the closest Wal-mart to my home I thought I would just offer a suggestion, that's it. Couldn't do that. I was told to speak with Norma, the assistant manager. An associate called Norma to come speak with me. I didn't mind waiting because she said it would be a minute because she was doing something at the registers. I thought no problem. Then I waited and waited and waited. The associate called Norma several times and she just kept saying she would get there in a minute. I happen to know exactly how long I waited because I received a phone call while the associate called Norma. It was 37 minutes of waiting until Norma told the associate "tell her all we have is what is on the floor" and she was not going to speak with me. I waited 37 minutes for that? All she had to do was tell me to come back/call back at a better time and apologize for being so busy, you know some sort of consideration for the customer sitting there for 37 minutes waiting for her, but no. She did not even make face to face contact. Then to top it off another associate told me Norma walked right past me, knew I was there and didn't acknowledge me. They thought it was very rude and inconsiderate and recommended I complain above her head.
Now I understand why every time I go to that specific store there are employees huddled together in groups of 2 or 3 complaining about how the store is run and how they treat the employees. I rarely see that kind of thing at other Wal-Marts. Either get rid of Norma or give her some customer service training. REDICULOUS treatment of customers!
