| - I don't know if we arrived on an off night, or our waitress just was having a really bad night or what, but our experience was horrible!
Initially we called ahead for a table and the lady was very kind and assured us we would have one waiting for 9 when we got there in 20 minutes. When I walked in, I looked around for someone and saw a waitress and a bartender and both looked at me blankly when I asked. Fortunately the hostess spotted me and ushered us to a back corner.
We were hoping for a quiet venue it being "like a speakeasy", but got greeted by a blast of music from a DJ. We don't mind loud music but wasn't expecting it.
The waitress started asking for drinks from us and asked my friend first and asked for a credit card. My friend said okay but emphasized that we are not all paying together. It was going to be separate bills. She had to reemphasize that several times. The waitress didn't ask anyone else for their card. She took each of our orders. Was not happy I asked for iced tea (they didn't have it). Then I asked for Diet Coke. (She wasn't too impressed by that either.) I then remembered I was drinking for the night so I asked if they had flavored vodka. she said she didn't know. So I informed her that if they didn't, please just put regular vodka in it.
15 minutes later she serves everyone but my friend she took the card from. Another couple with us had gotten wine and the waitress at one point asked, "They didn't get you a bucket for that?!" But then no one came with an ice bucket.
At the end of the night, there was a late apology for no drink. My friend had to ask for her card back (and at one point had said, just forget the drink.) When she gave us our bill, everyone gave specific instructions for cards and money, but she just pocketed the change and must've assumed it was all tip. It was a large amount, so people had to ask for their change back.
On top of the aggravation, she gave us two validation tickets back, but not our original parking ticket so we had issues getting out. Quite frankly, we will never return again,
