  • Several months ago, some dear friends of ours introduced us to Zur Kate German Restaurant here in Mesa. We enjoyed our experience so much, we knew we'd return to Zur Kate again. This evening my lady and I returned to Zur Kate on our own. She selected the Schnitzel Cordon Bleu with Spetzel and potatoes. I had Schnitzel Holstein with home fried potatoes acompanied by a side of Zur Kate Hausmacher Bratwurst. We also had some delicious marble rye bread. Our meal was outstanding and the portions generous. Needless to say, leftovers aplenty! We enjoyed the live German music as well as the inviting authentic atmosphere. We'll keep coming back to this wonderful restaurant because of the reasonably priced excellent fare, live music and attentive staff.
