  • It's patio weather people!! So of course I had to come and sit on the cutest little patio of Fuego Bistro. It was my husband and I's second wedding anniversary. And I thought it would be a nice romantic setting for the 2 of us. And sure enough it was. With the live music playing on the patio with us, to the pretty lights hanging above us, green sounding us, cobble stone beneath us, and sexy Latin food and drink in front of us. It was pretty much what I was hoping for. My only complaint would be the service. It took about 10-15 minutes for someone to come great our table. There were other tables that got sat after us that were greeted by their server. I am not really sure where ours was at the time, but I'm just going with he had an emergency bathroom break or something. It was just odd to me as the busser and hostess standing in the middle of everything sat and watched us sit there that long with out saying something. But, Once our server arrived everything went very smoothly. We started off with 2 of their signature cocktails and the Salmon Croquettes - Salmon With Bacon, Onion, & Mashed Potato,Dusted With Ancho Chile, Pan Fried & Topped With A Lemon Caper Beurre Blanc Sauce. Oh man.... I do believe I will make those my meal next time. Perfectly seared, and that Lemon Caper Beurre Blanc Sauce... just amazing. For our EntrĂ©e we ended up splitting Pernil Asado - Their Signature Slow Roasted Succulent Pork,Served With An Orange Habanero Mojo & Local Corn Tortillas, with the Green Chili Cornbread Casserole, and the Chipotle Cheddar Mashed Potatoes. And boy was it plenty. Not only were we unable to fit dessert, we couldn't finish the plate. Everything had great flavor. I really enjoyed the Pork. Tender and juicy. Thank you Fuego for making our anniversary night so great. We will be seeing you again soon.
