  • Having been to the American location in Chicago, I kind of knew what to expect when I visited the Toronto location. I visited The Halal Guys on a Saturday night, and it wasn't very busy to my surprise; but it did make it easier to find a seat and fully enjoy my food. I ordered their signature Chicken Platter loaded with their "white sauce" and hot sauce (which is REALLY hot, ask me how I know). The quality of the dish itself was very good and probably the best out of all the Shawarma places I have been to. Their signature white sauce and hot sauce really tie the dish together; but be careful with their hot sauce as it is really damn hot! Service is okay, but it is a quick serve type of place, so we can't expect anything too great. But for what it is, it's okay. If you're in the area or have been thinking of trying this place out, I would give it a go!
